SLAs

SLA stands for Service Level Agreement, which is a means to control how data and resources are received and used by third parties in agreements between customers and cloud computing providers. It defines the contract between both parties, including exactly what services (including ongoing services) are provided and what timescales operate in case of disruption. Ensuring SLAs are complied (and compensation if they’re not) is set to be one of the biggest headaches for cloud computing customers.
