Texas-based Dell was founded in 1984 and is a large multinational corporation which makes computers and computer related equipment, software, electronic goods and since 2009 has offered cloud solutions. Major financial sector publishers list Dell as the 38th largest company in the United States and the fifth largest in Texas (the second largest non-oil company). Dell provides cloud computing components including software, hardware and services (SaaS, PaaS and IaaS) as well as cloud consulting and data storage services.
