Microsoft

The software giant has a multi-pronged cloud involvement. Office365.com provides its Office suite of desktop applications to the cloud for customers such as Danish audio firm Bang & Olufsen which says the service is saving it money and allowing it to better serve its mobile staff.

Microsoft also runs Azure, its public cloud application hosting and development platform and has "cloud optimised" Windows Server 2012 for users to create private clouds.
