The company cloud solutions include Oracle on Demand and Exalogic Elastic Cloud. It claims these reduce complexity, optimise costs and avoid capital expense, improve security and reduce risks. Clients pay for what they use and have a choice of deployment models using Oracle’s scalable, proven cloud infrastructure. Its latest cloud offerings include a multi-tenanted cloud version of its 12c database and new Private Cloud, which would be identical to Oracle’s existing public cloud service. This is Oracle owned, managed and operated hardware in its own data centre and is sold as a pay-as-you-go service.
