Software partnership set to deliver range of applications to global customers

Software firm MindTree has teamed up with Dutch provider KPN to rollout a cloud services aggregator platform for enterprise customers.

The two companies will be acting, in effect, as a cloud services broker to provide a range of commercial offerings as a service to global organisations.

According to KPN, the software delivered will be a mix of the company’s own, their customers’ legacy applications and third-party software.

“The KPN cloud aggregation and delivery platform leverages our telecommunications and IT expertise and helps us deliver on our strategy to converge information technology and telecommunications and to optimise opportunities for our customers,” said Steven van Schilfgaarde, chief executive of corporate markets at KPN.

“As KPN, we will target the Dutch market, [and] MindTree is our business partner of choice for customers not only in Europe but throughout the globe," he added.

The partnership will deliver a range of benefits to customers, said Krishnakumar Natarajan, chief executive of MindTree: “Through this joint innovation programme, we aim to deliver business applications and services to our customers along with unique benefits such as unified contract, single sign-on and centralised governance.”
