ERP SaaS provider NetSuite has teamed up with e-signature outfit DocuSign to offer digital transaction management (DTM) and verification in the cloud.
NetSuite users will now be able to access a bespoke DocuSign offering, dubbed DocuSign SuiteApp, which integrates the vendor's DTM platform with NetSuite’s products.
According to the companies, the integration of Docusign into NetSuite allows the latter companies’ users to send contracts and other documents requiring a signature directly from within NetSuite.
Customers then receive a link via email to sign the agreement and can securely use DocuSign to do so, the organisations claim. Once ‘signed’ the documents are automatically brought into NetSuite as PDFs and attached to the relevant record.
Zach Nelson, CEO of Netsuite, said: “Our partnership with DocuSign is rooted in our own experience using DocuSign’s Digital Transaction Management platform to automate and streamline processes to accelerate our speed to results.
“Our sales team achieved a 61 per cent increase in productivity and improved document turnaround time by 77 per cent by [using DocuSign eSignatures] to reduce sales contract processing.”
Keith Krach, chairman and CEO of Docusign, added: “NetSuite is a great partner and solution for DocuSign that’s enabled us to scale in this hyper-growth environment.
“Our deeper relationship with NetSuite brings the best of two industry-leading cloud providers with highly complementary solutions together to help companies achieve their digital transformations.”
This is not the first time DocuSign has partnered with another cloud services provider. Just six days ago DocuSign partnered with Microsoft to offer eSignature capabilities from within Office 365.
