Latest iteration of the product supports more platforms and enhances analytical capabilities

VMTurbo has announced the release of version 3.3 of its Operations Manager offering, a software-defined control product for cloud and virtualised environments.

The company claims version 3.3 delivers new features that will enable intelligent automation across a range of hypervisor and cloud platforms, as well as integrated analytics.

“Operations Manager is a control system that enables you to proactively control how resources get allocated within the infrastructure right throughout the cycle of planning, deployment and operation management within the environment,” Andrew Mallaband, managing director for Northern Europe at VMTurbo told Cloud Pro.

“With version 3.3, we are making sure we address all of the latest platforms out there that are in popular use within the marketplace. So we now support VMware’s vCloud 5.1, Microsoft’s HyperV 2012, Red Hat Enterprise Virtualisation 3.1, Citrix XenServer and the latest release of CloudStack,” Mallaband continued.

“We have also made some enhancements to our policy engine, which enables users to calendar changes at specific times when you may want some down time,” he concluded.

The product is generally available today and pricing starts at £318 per physical socket.
