Accounting and financial application software monitors and processes transactions coming and out of an enterprise. This includes ERP software and other high-end, often cloud-based, accounting/financial software.

Payroll is the record of salaries, wages and bonuses paid by a company to employees and a record of taxes paid and deductions made.
